For the Christmas tree, you must have the following materials:
• Oilcloth or dense green polyethylene,
•Styrofoam,
• Satin narrow ribbon,
• A tree branch of at least 1 cm in diameter,
• Jar or small pot,
• Auxiliary items: glue gun, alabaster, beads, wire.
First of all, we harvest coniferous branches - we cut the green oilcloth into strips 30 * 5 cm in size. Fold the strips in half lengthwise and cut the edges with scissors, creating rags and needles.
It is advisable to shred such strips 20-25 pieces to make the tree lush.

Now you need to collapse each strip, turning it into a coniferous branch. To do this, cut off a piece of wire of equal length and, laying on a green strip, we begin to twist them together.

When all branches are ready, proceed to the manufacture of the cone. We build it from thick cardboard - we fold a sheet of cardboard in A4 format into a bag and fasten it with a stapler. Sticking out the sharp ends with scissors, creating a smooth edge.

We grease one end of the branch with glue and fix it at the top of the cone. If the glue does not hold the branch, then previously the end of the branch can be tightly wrapped with thread and glue the thread with glue. They stick better to cardboard than a wooden surface.

We plant a cone on a branch in a small pot, a jar or any suitable container. To do this, in a separate bowl, dilute alabaster or gypsum with water to the consistency of liquid sour cream. Very quickly until the mixture has dried, pour it into the prepared container and put our cone on it on a branch. Leave to dry for several hours.

When the alabaster sets, we proceed to decorate and mask the jars. Polyfoam paste over the surface of the jar around the trunk, simulating snowdrifts of snow.

Next, we begin to stick the needles to the cone, starting from the crown. We wrap the branches around the cone in a circle, fixing with glue.

Similarly, the whole cone is glued.

Proceed to decorate the Christmas tree.
From a satin ribbon we cut segments 10 cm long and from them we tie small bows. The ends of the bow are melted with fire so that they do not separate. About 10 bows will be needed on our Christmas tree.

First, we decorate the Christmas tree with gilded shiny thread, letting it spiral down from the base of the spruce to the crown.
Then glue the bows.

We also decorate the pot with beads, bows or other beautiful little things.

Such a tree can not be compared with store souvenirs, since any handmade work is individual and unique in nature. Therefore, the gift will be unusual, and most importantly beautiful and original.
