Valentine's Day is a relatively young holiday for our open spaces, but loved by many people. Of course, you need to talk about feelings beloved constantly, but it is so nice to get a special additional reason for this. On this day, saturated with the atmosphere of romance, even the most timid lovers have a double chance to receive a positive response to their declaration of love, and well-established couples will once again remind each other why they are together. There are many options to say about your feelings, but one of the most common and affordable is a valentine card.
With a huge selection of such cards for sale, the fact of creating a love message with your own hands will add special charm and value.

Materials for the manufacture of:

  • design cardboard, basis for postcards, A-4 format;
  • glue Moment Crystal transparent;
  • scissors;
  • old unnecessary notes;
  • sackcloth;
  • economic twine;
  • design paper;
  • nail polish (gold and red);
  • acrylic paints, brushes;
  • lighter.

Manufacturing process:

1. For this card is used soft pink design cardboard embossed. Fold the sheet in half.

2. Cut the music page into several arbitrary parts. Cut one part in the shape of a heart (the widest place is 11 cm). Use a lighter to artificially age the notes. Burn the edges of the notes, then lightly hold the fire under the surface of the paper to give it the effect of ancient yellowness. (Work with fire carefully, children must ask adults for help!)

3. Using a prepared heart from notes, outline on the burlap a heart of the same shape, but larger, about 1.5-2 cm around the edge.

4. Cut out the burlap outlined heart with the widest part of 14 cm and one smaller - 6 cm wide.

5. Cover the edge of the big heart with 1 cm gold varnish, this will help strengthen the burlap threads along the edge and give the heart the effect of the old golden gold. Allow to dry.

6. Coat a smaller heart with red varnish throughout.

7. Cut the economic twine 110 cm long. Cut it into three parts: 80, 15 and 15 cm.

8. Coat the whole twine with red acrylic paint. Small errors in coverage are fearless. Leave to dry. For acrylic paint, 10 minutes is enough for complete drying.

9. The edge of the dried out small heart is 0.5 cm. Also covered with red acrylic paint. Paint and varnish will create contrasting shades of red.

10. Glue the aged parts of the notes with the help of glue, except the musical heart, on the base of the card, slightly changing the direction of the notes. All the details of the postcard will be superimposed on this musical canvas.

11. Glue a large heart with a gold edge in the lower right side of the card. On top of it stick a heart of notes.

12. In the upper left corner, glue a dried-up small heart out of burlap, placing it diagonally.

13. From designer paper or old cards, cut out two soaring angels facing each other.

14. Glue the angels on both sides of the bottom of the small heart of burlap.

15. Lay out separately the heart from the long part of the colored twine. Immediately stick it on top of the heart from the notes at the bottom of the postcard.

16. Twist spiral monograms from two small sections of twine.

17. Glue the monograms in the corners of the card opposite from the hearts.

Postcard is ready. The simplicity and some rudeness of the materials gives the postcard a touch of antiquity. The notes symbolize the music of two hearts in love, and guardian angels will protect your loved one from adversity.

Give loved ones joy!
