And let's try to sew full-value clothes from the flaps! If the size of the piece allows you to cut out completely trimmed part of the model you like from it, then you can get such a skirt or an elegant knitted tunic.
However, it often happens that the desired model does not have many small trim parts. And the size of the flaps is not always large enough. In this case, proceed as follows. All flaps suitable for texture (or color) are cut into rectangles of arbitrary shape. Then we begin to sew them together. It is imperative to strictly observe lobar and transverse threads. Otherwise, the canvas may skew.
To process each seam from the inside out with an overlock or zigzag and iron on one side. It is advisable to stitch on the front side.
The work is simple, but long and painstaking. In other words, we ourselves produce the canvas of the size we need, from which we will further cut out the details of the product. The resulting fabric is again ironed and can be cut.
It is not necessary to stitch all the flaps into one fabric. It is very time consuming. It is better to build small canvases that are approximately suitable in size to the details of the pattern.
Make sure that the colorful patches are distributed evenly throughout the product. Further sewing occurs using conventional technology. From the remnants of a woolen costume fabric, such a jacket can turn out.
Imagine, sew. Patchwork is now in fashion!
