Using a hydraulic press, it is possible to press out (press in) bearings or, using the die and punch, to give the workpiece the necessary shape.
In a workshop or garage, a hydraulic press is a very necessary and useful thing. Moreover, you can do it yourself, saving a considerable amount.
In this review, the design of the press is classic, and provides that the car jack will be located at the bottom of the hydraulic press - accordingly, it will push upward.

The master uses a bottle-type jack, which is ideal for these purposes. A channel, springs and thick steel plates are also required.
The main stages of work
First of all, we cut off two pieces of a channel of the same length and 4 metal strips (the dimensions of the workpieces are determined in advance and individually).
Next, you need to drill mounting holes in the blanks. We fasten the car jack in the center of the channel.
We fasten the metal strips to the channel, and thus we get the frame.
To the movable working platform, the author welds the sleeve (a piece of pipe) so that it can be joined with the piston of the jack.
In the bed (base) and the movable platform, drill holes for the bolts with the ring. They are needed in order to install two springs.
At the last stage, it will be necessary to drill three holes in the upper part of the frame racks so that the second channel can be fixed.
To fix the upper platform, the author uses home-made locking "fingers".
