In this review, the author shows the process of making a large decorative fireplace with his own hands, which is intended for use in the open space, as a decoration of the surrounding landscape.

Despite the simplicity of the exterior, the fireplace has a futuristic design. Something like a rocket for flying into space.

The design itself is made in the form of a truncated pyramid. The author cut blanks on a CNC plasma cutting machine.

However, in principle, you can do with a grinder. But I must admit that it will take much longer. Although the size of the "rocket" can be reduced if necessary.

The main stages of work

As the main material for the manufacture of a street fireplace, the author uses sheet metal.

Four trapezoidal blanks will need to be cut. Moreover, in two of them, the author cuts out part of the metal so that when docking, viewing windows are obtained.

All four blanks will need to be welded together. Welds must then be cleaned with a grinder with a petal circle.

At the next stage, the author cuts out two more blanks from sheet metal. One is welded to the bottom of the walls - this will be the bottom, and the second is slightly higher (this will be the base of the furnace).

The upper part of the structure acts as a chimney. It looks like a fireplace rocket, although simple, but still quite unusual.

A detailed process for making an outdoor fireplace can be seen in the video.
