In this review, the author decided to experiment and make a simple round coffee table. At the same time, it acts as a stand for a pot with a decorative fig tree.
To implement this project, a round bar of metal (smooth reinforcement), a steel strip and plywood will be required. From the main tool you will need a jigsaw and welding.
The first step is to weld the metal frame. To do this, from a round bar you need to make two rings of different diameters. The author uses patterns that are made of plywood.
The main stages of work
The next step is to cut four pieces of steel strip. Using welding, it is necessary to weld the strip segments to the rings.
The finished frame must be sanded or cleaned with a cord brush. Next, the frame must be primed and painted.
The author cuts the table top for the table out of plywood. In the center, you need to drill a hole, and then with a circular saw or the same jigsaw - make a cut for the tree trunk.
At the last stage, it remains only to cover the countertop with varnish on wood or you can simply paint it - this is at your discretion.
