The main "sores" of any car are hidden either under the hood or under the bottom. Getting to the motor is easy, just open the hood.
But in order to repair the suspension or to diagnose the transmission for defects, it will be necessary to already climb under the body.
If there is no inspection hole for a car, then this will be problematic. Keeping the car on jacks all the time is dangerous.
In this case, it is advisable to use a mini overpass. And you can do it yourself.
The main stages of work
For the manufacture of a full-sized mini flyover for cars, which is designed to drive the entire car, the author uses a square profile pipe 40x40 mm (a total of about 60 meters). You will also need a profile of 25x25 mm - 12 meters, and fittings.
First you need to weld the first frame, and then all the rest (three more pieces) are assembled in size of the first. The length of the farm is 4 meters.
The mini flyover itself consists of two independent parts - gangways, each of which, in turn, consists of two farms. The width of the ladder is 50 cm.
Arrivals for the car are made of profile pipes and pieces of fittings. First, two frames are welded separately, and then welded to the ladders.
On the sides of each farm, the author welds the slopes, which are made of a profile pipe 25x25 mm. Workpieces need to be cut at an angle of 45 degrees.
At the last stage, on the upper part of the ladders, it remains only to weld pieces of reinforcement. The finished structure will need to be primed and painted.
