In this review, the author tells how to make a simple lamp for a street gazebo with your own hands. To do this, you need a wooden block. If you need to make several fixtures, then, accordingly, you will need more bars.

First of all, the master cuts the bar of the desired length on the miter saw. In this case, the length of the wooden bar is 800 mm. But the lamp for the gazebo can be made smaller or larger.

Next, in the bar you will need to drill four "sockets" for the installation of spotlights. This can be done using a crown on a tree of suitable diameter.

The master removes the core with a chisel. On the other side of the bar you need to drill holes of a smaller diameter with a pen drill so that the cable can be pulled out.

The main stages of work

After all the holes have been drilled in the bar, the workpiece must be sanded. This can be done with a grinder, angle grinder with a petal wheel or manually with an emery cloth.

To make the lamp housing more stylish, the master burns the bar with a gas burner. Then the surface is cleaned with a brush, which is usually used to clean metal.

At the last stage of work, the bar is varnished (or you can just soak it with oil), after which the lamps are installed and suspensions are made.
