In almost every home workshop (especially if you often work with wood), there are clippings of plywood. They can be used to make original table lamps in the form of dogs. Moreover, cats calmly relate to such "guests".

From plywood, the master makes a lampshade, which acts as a dog's head, as well as paws, trunk, tail and ears. All parts are connected to each other using bolts and nuts, and therefore are movable.

In the store you will only need to buy LED lamps - the author uses 3W lamps. In this case, the diameter of the mounting hole for such lamps is 35 mm.

For the manufacture of home-made decorative fixtures for the home, you will also need to buy cords with a switch in a store or on the market. You can simply use the cord, but with a switch - more convenient.

The main stages of work

For the manufacture of shades, the author uses a piece of plywood 6 mm thick. First of all, it is necessary to saw blanks of the required sizes from plywood. For 1 cover you need 4 blanks.

Then, from a piece of plywood 12 mm thick, it is necessary to file blanks from which paws, trunk, tail and ears will be made. The width of the rails is 25 mm, and the length is different.

At the next stage, the master proceeds to gluing the shades. In addition, you will need to make inserts from plywood with a "socket" under the lamp. Details that mimic the dog’s neck, the author decided to “plant” on glue and dowels.

Then it remains only to mark and drill, paint all the elements, as well as install the fixtures, and you can start assembling.
