Mechanical anti-theft tools, including a car wheel lock (home-made or factory-made) are not a panacea against theft, but provide comprehensive protection for a passenger car or a cargo vehicle from intruders. The device is mounted on the wheel disc, and a padlock acts as a lock.
After installing a homemade lock on the front or rear wheel, the movement of the machine on its own or in tow is not possible. The obvious advantage of this anti-theft device is the simplicity of construction (you can make it yourself), as well as ease of installation (installation takes no more than 10-15 seconds) and versatility in use.
How to make a blocker from a profile
First, from the profile pipe with sides 15x15 mm, you need to cut five blanks of different lengths, and another one from the profile 20x20 mm. In long sections, we drill holes for the padlock handle: in the twentieth profile, you need to drill one hole, and in the smaller profile pipe, about 10 holes in 1-2 cm increments.
Then, from the profile scraps, we weld two L-shaped parts, to one of which a plate with teeth is welded. To make it is very simple - you need to cut a piece of a suitable shape from sheet metal, and then with the help of a grinder triangular teeth of arbitrary sizes are cut.
