For the manufacture of this homemade product, trimming profile pipes and a plate are used. If the workpieces were brought from the street, then the first thing they need to be cleaned from rust. Preparatory work
From a piece of steel plate, you need to cut a square with dimensions of about 10x10 cm (the base of the stand can be made larger or smaller). It will also be necessary to cut two pieces from a square pipe and one from a rectangular profile - the sizes are arbitrary. All blanks must be processed on a belt grinder.
The inside of the parts also needs to be processed with sandpaper. Next, we install on the plate all three profile pipes, fix them with clamps and weld to the base. Moreover, it is better to cook from the inside so that the weld is not visible. The result is a compact and very neat metal stand for pencils or screwdrivers.

We seal the outer surface of the stand with masking tape, and then paint the inside with red paint from a spray can. After that, it is necessary to glue all three holes and paint the pipes with the plate on the outside. The result is a very unusual and stylish stand that will decorate not only the home interior or office, but also the workshop.
