The trimming of plastic pipes that remain after installing the water supply is an excellent material for various interesting and useful crafts in the garage and workshop. The popularity of plastic pipes is due to their low cost and general availability. Moreover, working with them is easy and simple.
In this article, we will look at how to make a tool holder (hammer, ax, etc.) from plastic pipes, simple carpentry clamps and a practical tool for cleaning corn. All these homemade products will definitely come in handy on the farm.
Tool holder
We mark out a piece of plastic pipe and use a grinder (or a hand jigsaw) to cut out the part of the desired shape. It is desirable to process the edges with a file or a grinding nozzle for a drill.
Such a compact and light home-made holder can be used for quick fixation on the belt of a hammer, ax or other tools with a handle. Very comfortable and practical.
Joiner Clamps
We cut two pieces of suitable length (5-10 cm) from the plastic pipe and cut them lengthwise. In each workpiece, it is also necessary to drill two holes on both sides, into which one nail must be inserted.
Of course, such carpentry clamps will not replace clamps, but for simple work (for example, for gluing wooden planks) they will fit perfectly. Well and most importantly - the cost of such joinery clamps is extremely small.
Maize cleaner
For this homemade product, a pipe of medium diameter with a length of about 40-50 cm is suitable. Along its entire circumference (closer to the upper edge), we drill holes and twist the screws in them. To peel the corn, we simply "put" it on the drill, insert it into the pipe and turn on the drill (or screwdriver).
