How to knit a stole, on which no more than 100 grams of yarn is spent? How to knit a stole, which will be an air decor for a dress or a suit, will decorate a set of clothes even on very warm days, without creating a steam room? How to knit a stole fast enough, using your knitter’s skill, but without spending too much time on it? It seems that such questions often arise among craftswomen or those who try, experimenting with a variety of knitted patterns. Also, for those who need to quickly make a gift, urgently add a decorating accessory to an evening dress, spend a small residue of beautiful yarn. This model is especially for you, it will pleasantly surprise on the one hand with relative simplicity and speed of manufacture, on the other hand it will become an attractive, non-trivial and noticeable little thing in the wardrobe.
The highlight of the proposed palatine is that it is practically weightless, very airy knit, which will serve decorative purposes. The pattern chosen for the central part of the stole is called a "chain-link", because it really resembles the structure of a metal mesh of a chain-link. The pattern is not complicated, but insidious, it must be done with a confident hand, so that the canvas turns out to be a single whole, otherwise it will look ugly, in the sock it may warp, lose shape.

Here are the sizes for the completed model (when knitting your model, you can change the sizes according to the knitting pattern): the length of the stole is 120 cm; the width of the stole is 45 cm

Initially, we gain 55 vp (the number of loops should be a multiple of 5), then 2 vp for lifting. We knit the 2nd row completely with double crochet. Then we carry out the drawing according to the scheme * 3 st. With a crochet in each loop of the lower row, 2 vp *. In the next row, the figure is shifted: * 3 st. lower row, 2c.p. double crochet columns *. We carry out 50 rows, observing the figure.

Then proceed to oblige the details. Tying is done in 3 rows with double crochet. In each corner loop for rotation we knit 3 tbsp. With a crochet.

The following three rows are performed according to the "cell" scheme: * 3 st. With a crochet, 3 vp *. In the same way, 2 more rows are executed, shifting the cells in a checkerboard pattern. After three rows of cells, we knit along the contour with one row of double crocheted columns to go to the next figure.

The final wrap of the palatine should give the edge a wavy look. For this, the following knitting scheme is used: 2 VP for lifting, further repeating rapport * 2 tbsp. with a crochet in each loop of the lower row, 5 vp, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in each loop of the lower row *. We get a small loop around the contour. We knit the corner loops at 5 vp. in each. For lifting we always use 2 vp

Cut the thread and tie a thin invisible knot on the last row of the canvas.

It turns out a very tender, almost weightless openwork stole of a rather large size, which took about 80 grams of yarn! You will be pleased to wear it in any season.

The most common mistakes when knitting products such a thin air viscous.
1. Incorrect tool selection. If you use a hook of an unsuitable number, the product will turn out to be shaky, will not hold its shape, and will deform. We used rather thin yarn 430 m per 100 g. This means that the maximum allowable hook number is N4. With this hook, knitting is airy, but not too loose. In this case, you need to have a pretty confident hand so as not to tighten and loosen the loops during the knitting process. The knitting should be very uniform.
2. Loss of loops on the edges of the product. With such a net pattern, knitting is easy to lose count by completing a series. As a result, you can narrow or expand the canvas, which is unacceptable. Therefore, be careful, periodically straighten the canvas, check the correctness of the rapports.
3. When the knit fabric is highly sparse and has a mesh structure, it is desirable to create “stiff lines” that will support the fabric structure. It is not recommended to make the mesh cloth wider than 30 cm so that it does not sag.
