In this review, the author shows a simple way how to weld a beautiful and high-quality corner joint from three sections of a profile pipe at home.

In fact, there is nothing complicated here, but some novice welders may not know this trick. In any case, it is useful to know.

The first step is to cut off three pieces of the profile pipe of suitable length. One edge will need to be cut at an angle of 45 degrees.

On the miter saw, first we cut off one edge at 45 degrees, then we turn the workpiece over and cut it again at an angle of 45 degrees. So do with all three blanks.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the edges of the cut will need to be sanded so that there are no burrs. This can be done both on an electric sharpener and using a grinder with a petal circle.

We recommend reading: how to make a smooth start for angle grinder from an old iron.

Next, we weld together at first two workpieces that lie horizontally. And then we weld to them the third workpiece, which is installed vertically.

Ideally, first just grab, and then scald. Welds will need to be cleaned with a grinder.
