In this review, the author shows the process of manufacturing a universal piece of furniture for a private house or cottage.
The finished product can be used as a side table, and as a stool.
For the manufacture of homemade products, the author uses profile pipes 50 * 50 mm and oak boards.
The first step will be to cut into size all the workpieces. We cut metal with a grinder, boards with a jigsaw or a manual circular.
The main stages of work
Of the four sections of the profile pipe 50 * 50 mm, it will be necessary to weld a rectangular frame. This will be the base of the stool (or table).
Then the author welds another one of the same frame. As you already understood, this is the upper part, to which the tabletop seat will then be attached.
At the next stage, we cut two more workpieces from the profile pipe 50 * 50 mm at an angle. And using them, we connect the base with the upper part.
After that, we clean the welds with a petal circle and paint the metal frame in black.
We fasten the four fasteners to the upper part, to which the tabletop seat will be attached.
Now we glue three boards together or use a ready-made furniture panel. We cover with 1-2 layers of varnish.
At the last stage, we fasten the bench seat to the metal frame.
