It is not always possible to find furniture for sale that would ideally fit into the interior of the room. And sometimes the quality of the product leaves much to be desired, and I do not want to throw money away.
However, in such cases, you can use old pieces of furniture that have lost their original appearance.

The main stages of work
First you need to degrease all plastic surfaces.
Now the chair needs to be completely disassembled. Unscrew the handles, seat and backrest. Remove the fabric upholstery.
Before painting, the chair must be covered with adhesive primer. Enough one thin layer.
If you skip this step, the paint may lie badly or break off after drying. Before painting, adjust the seat adjustment knob and wheels with masking tape.
You need to paint the chair with a plastic spray of your favorite color. In this case, the paint will lie in an even uniform layer.
Do not try to immediately block the color of the plastic, as smudges may appear. It is better to apply an aerosol with intermediate drying.
After the paint dries, cover the chair with glossy varnish. It must be applied in several layers for strength.
While the plastic parts are drying, you can do upholstery. Pick any material you like. The main thing is that it be strong enough.
Attach a piece of cloth to the underside of the seat with a furniture stapler, and then, carefully pulling, secure the second edge.
Gently form frequent creases on the bends, thus nailing the entire fabric. After cut off the excess from the edges and done.
Similarly, tighten the back and you can assemble the chair. So we created a completely new piece of furniture from the old office chair.
