A self-made cutting end board is a universal stand, and in combination a convenient cutting surface, which is useful in the country or at home in the process of cooking.
For its manufacture, we take the remains of oak planks and cut into strips of the same size. We put the resulting cubes on the desktop, turn them over so that the pattern looks harmoniously on them.
We put the blanks together, apply the PVA carpentry glue and spread it on the surface with your finger, without missing a single centimeter (you can use a brush). Then we turn the bars so that they stick to each other. Clamp. After our board blanks have dried, we level the surface on the jointer.

Then we stack the obtained workpieces side by side, apply glue and spread it. We turn to each other so that they stick together in a large shield. After the shield has dried, smooth its surface with a milling cutter and grind it. After polishing, a beautiful pattern appears on the surface.
Next, we measure the size of our board necessary for trimming and cut it on a circular. After cutting it is necessary to polish the board. We remove a small chamfer. The result was a perfectly flat surface. At the last stage, we apply wax impregnation on the surface of the product.
